Campsite Capo Ferrato was established in 1965 as one of the first campsites in Sardinia, and has always been run by the same family.
It’s open from Easter until end-October.
It’s situated on a 20.000 sq. m. area, shaded by eucalyptus, mimosa and other Mediterranean plants
Is located right on the sea. From campsite you can admire the wonderful view of the Point of  “Santa Giusta” with the “Peppino” reef, which is only a 5-minute walk on the sand.

Can host until 350 people. It has 86 pitches, of which 24 are panoramic view sites, plus 26 bungalows and a mobile home with all comforts.

SUN AND SEA
Here you can find the best combination between sea and sun! Campsite overlooks for all its extension over a wonderful strip of Costa Rei’s beach, where sand is thins and white and sea is crystal clear: moreover it goes down gradually, so also children can bathe in safety. Don’t worry if, just arrived under beach umbrella, you remember your sunglasses left at the pitch: just few steps, also barefoot, and you can easily take them and go back under the sun…
And when sun is too hot, you can still enjoy a stunning view of the coastline from campsite. A spectacular moment is that of dawn over the sea…
Walking along the beach for 5 minutes, you will reach “Scoglio di Peppino” (Peppino’s reef) a magnificent granitic rock which closes a shallow water bay and where reflects are even more extraordinary. Rear part of the reef give the chance to swim over some meters of depth, ideal place to snorkelling.
Costa Rei’s beach is closed, 6 kilometres north, with promontory of Capo Ferrato and its small inlets of rocks and sand: perfect place for those who love fishing and diving (in Costa Rei there’s an equipped diving centre).
 Few kilometres from campsite begins the Geo-marine Park of Capo Carbonara- Villasimius, with unpolluted isles of “Serpentara” and “dei Cavoli”. Campsite organises excursions and can give you all information for guided tours with local guides.(photo gallery)

NATURE AND VEGETATION
Open air holidays are not only a choose, but they’re the desire to feel free, to live all days without formality or schedule… This is campsite’s life! We offer to our guests also another chance: live nature, enjoying it and learning something more with our small courses with botanist.
Campsite is situated in a verdant area, under tall eucalyptus trees, and is surrounded by a protected area of Mediterranean maquis, just into “SIC Santa Giusta Costa Rei”, that is, following European Community directories, a Community Interest Site.
In the inland, few kilometres from campsite, there’s the Parco dei Sette Fratelli (Seven Brothers’ Park), with its stunning landscape of canyons and woods, where still lives protected race of Sardinian deer. Here one can do wonderful excursions or trekking to admire an amazing natural landscape but also interesting archaeological sites of nuraghi culture.
The area of Muravera is, moreover, rich of ponds, with an interesting avicultural fauna (i.e. pink flamingos), but also fishponds, where mullets and eels are bread.

RELAX AND CUISINE
Just think of sea waves, of chirp-chirp of the crickets at night, of a calm sleep and safety that a small family run campsite can offer. The same family has always run campsite Capo Ferrato since 1965, and first aim has always been peacefulness and calmness of our guests. Children can move in safety inside campsite and animation is organised away from campers in order to choose if participate or just relax
There’s no relax without good cuisine! Our restaurant offers a genuine cuisine and meats of traditional gastronomy to let you taste flavours and perfumes of Sardinia.
During Sardinian weeks, campsite offers you the chance to meet local gastronomy through cookery lessons and some other particular events.

ANIMATION AND FUN
A holiday characterized by merriment is also a pleasant holiday for everybody! Which animation a camper would like? In July and August the one that provides a nice entertainment each evening, everyday different: a show, an evening dance, a live music concert or a dance performance, a kids’ show or some family games, everything presented with professionalism and with special guests. Moreover some sport tournament and mini-club activities for the children. During low season months, we offer a cultural animation, with excursions and some other particular activities, such as that we organize during Sardinian weeks and the event “Discovering a little bit of Sardinia” to introduce Sardinian traditions and customs to our guests.
