Distance from Cagliari about 60 km; from Arbatax about 100 km; from Olbia and Golfo Aranci about 330 km.
1. From Cagliari (1 hour drive),
a) Path A (along the coast) - go along the coast road towards Villasimius (SP17) until you find Solanas (until Km. 26.500), then turn on the left and follow the markings to Costa Rei. [In August 2008 a new way of SS125 should be opened in Geremeas from SP 17]
b) Path B – (inner road) take the SS 125 in the direction of Muravera. After about 50 Km. take the new SS125, on the right (direction Villasimius/Cagliari) and go out towards Olia Speciosa. Follow markings to Costa Rei.
2.From Arbatax (1h30’ drive),
drive along the SS 125 until exit Olia Speciosa, then follow markings to Costa Rei.
3. From Olbia (4 hours drive)
Path A (330 Km. for all means of transport, also motor home and caravans) – Take SS131 direction Cagliari and the follow as point 1
Path B (265 Km. Shorter path but preferably for cars and small means of transport) Take SS131 direction Nuoro, then turn on the SS 389 direction Mamoiada/Lanusei. Cross the village of Lanusei, the follow towards Loceri/Cardedu and then take SS 125 direction Muravera. Near the village of Tertenia there’s an old stretch of SS 125, but after the road is completely new. Go out at Olia Speciosa, and then follow markings to Costa Rei
