“Sardinian Weeks” April 2024
With the “Sardinian Weeks” of April many real experiences to be lived, to discover the traditions, culture, nature and gastronomy of our island. April is truly one of the most fascinating months of the season and we accompany you to discover our territory by making you live and participate in real experiences… immediately, starting from Easter! Many days to let you enter the reality of local life, learn about the traditions and culture off the beaten track. The emotion and experience of a guided tour in the house of a small producer, learning about the legends of the most beautiful and mysterious places, discovering corners of nature with the environmental guide or observing the stars with the astrophysicist: this is what we offer to our guest, who no longer becomes a tourist but an active and true participant of our territory. The SARDINIAN WEEKS of April 2024 open with the Easter program. Choose to stay with us for your experiential holiday, overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean … The next SARDINIAN WEEKS will be May, June, September and October At the reception all the information. Fantastic April! Our weekend afternoon workshops
Spring has arrived and we dedicate some weekend afternoons in April to fun and relaxation with our easy creative workshops. Accompanied by professionals and guides, here is our program: Saturday 30 March: decorated wax candle workshop, with the guide Marta for adults and children! To make the candle holder and decorations, recycled materials will also be used in line with our green philosophy! (free participation) Saturday 6 April: with the weaver Simona Daisy, weaving workshop on the loom. After the great success of last year we repeat this fun workshop. Registration is mandatory and the cost is €16.00 per person. Sunday 21 April: with Marta’s guidance, shopping bag workshop, for adults and children! You will be able to take the finished work home and show off your super creation with your friends! Participation is €5.00 Remember to register in advance, places are limited!
THE EASTER PROGRAM WITH US!
With Easter we start the 2024 season!!! The program of the “Sardinian Weeks” of April will start on Saturday and in the first Easter weekend we will have events to make your stay with us pleasant: On Saturday 30 March with the guide Marta Pili we will do the decorated wax candle workshop Sunday 31 April – Easter the children will have fun with the egg hunt! This will then be followed by the delicious Easter menu proposed by our restaurant “Da Guido” and in the evening LIVE MUSIC! On Monday 1 April, accompanied by the Environmental Hiking Guide, we will take a walk along the beach to the Scoglio di Peppino, to discover the history, nature and curiosities of Costa Rei and our territory On Tuesday 2 April we will leave the campsite to be taken by the Guides on an evocative excursion/trekking to discover the archaeological sites of Costa Rei ….and our program continues in the following weeks! RESERVATIONS 2024
ON 14 NOVEMBER WE WILL OPEN RESERVATIONS FOR THE BUNGALOWS AND ON 5 DECEMBER FOR THE PITCHES For the 2024 season, bookings for the BUNGALOWS begin on TUESDAY 14 November at 10:00 am, and then on TUESDAY 5 December for the PITCHES. In order to better manage all requests, reservations for bungalows and pitches start at different times every year. We will receive requests received via email to info@campingcapoferrato.it. Starting from the second week of November it is possible to find the rates online on our website, but the booking can only be accepted from the established start date and time. Requests arriving earlier cannot be accepted. If you have already written to us, please note that the requests received are not put on the waiting list, therefore, we ask you to contact us again from the scheduled date and time. In 2024 the campsite will open on March 29th and close on November 4th. Here we are once again with the program of the “Sardinian Weeks”! Two weeks of special activities and experiences to enjoy during your holidays in our campsite. There are many activities and among the many we will visit the farm, excursions with an environmental guide to discover the surrounding area; cultural activities, workshops with professionals, gastronomic initiatives and craft evenings, etc. You can ask the reception for the details. CMT the Holiday Fair in Stuttgart (Germany) 15-19 January 2023
We will be in Germany in Stuttgart from 15 to 19 JANUARY to participate in one of the most important trade fair events in Europe for Camping: the CMT CARAVAN MOTOR UND TOURISTIK Holiday Fair. We will enthusiastically tell the beauty of Sardinia and stimulate the desire to make holidays at Camping Capo Ferrato. Patrizia will be available at the Stand of the Sardinia Region to welcome old and new campers, ready to give everyone advice and ideas for the trip, to help create itineraries to discover curiosities! And here they come to our holidays too! After a beautiful 2022 we are approaching the change of the year, and now it’s up to us to take a few weeks off. Our offices will be closed from December 23rd and will reopen on January 9th at 10 am. 2023 Reservations
Reservations 2023: for better management of requests, the two types of accommodation have different dates. Reservations for the next season will start on Tuesday 29th November 2022 at 10 am for the Bungalows and 17th January 2023 at 10 am for the Pitches. Requests will be accepted only from the date and time indicated and in the first days only by email to info@campingcapoferrato.it. Due to the considerable request that arrives at the opening, the online booking system will also be temporarily closed, which will resume as soon as the first phase is defined. We won the 2021 Ecotourism OSCAR!
Camping Capo Ferrato won the 2021 Ecotourism OSCAR awarded by LEGAMBIENTE, which rewards some Italian structures that have distinguished themselves in terms of sustainable and responsible hospitality. And with so much joy and pride we want to share this award with you, which has a very important value for us! 🥇💚 On Thursday at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, our campsite was awarded as “Best accommodation facility”! Legambiente has recognized Camping Capo Ferrato for its commitment to enhancing the territory with the environmental and social education program “Le Settime Sarde”, for the sustainable equipped beach which, among other things, adheres to the Tartawatchers program, for the Da Guido Restaurant, which is attentive to local specialties and with a wine list that allows you to locate the wineries in the area, and for the continuous investments for the improvement of the structure in the name of sustainability! In the presentation speech, Legambiente also praised the long seasonality that contributes to creating economy for the territory 💚💚💚 We thank the enthusiastic Legambiente for this recognition, which encourages us to continue to commit ourselves every day to responsible and sustainable tourism, which enhances nature and the territory that surrounds us

We’re finally starting again! We are very happy to share this news with you. The campsite will open from May 15th and from May 22nd the market, restaurant, pizzeria and bar will also reopen! On the first weekend we will still be in the orange zone, so unfortunately with some restrictions, but we want to give a sign of optimism and LET’S START A NEW SEASON! We are available for any information!
News: Camping opening 2021
Dear friends of Camping Capo Ferrato, as you know we are one of the campsites in Sardinia that has the longest season, we have always opened the first days of April and so we planned to do this again this year. The continuous changes of ministerial provisions and the constantly evolving health situation, unfortunately, considerably limit the movements between the Regions and the arrival of foreign tourists. Therefore, we are in a position to have to change our programs and so we are forced to postpone the opening which presumably will be on April 30th. We have been waiting to give you this news, because we all really counted on a general improvement in national health conditions and an opening of borders. We have been preparing for this spring for some time, the month of April is one of the most evocative for us and the desire to go out and be outdoors is strong for everyone. But now we still have to be patient and wait confidently. Keep following us, we will keep you informed and we will confirm the opening date as soon as possible. See you soon! The “Sardinian Weeks” program starts again! From 5 to 27 SEPTEMBER we offer you real experiences to be lived, discovering the traditions, culture, nature and gastronomy of our island. September is one of the most fascinating months of the season, with all the opportunities of summer and autumn. We accompany you to discover our territory by letting you live 22 days of experiences, to let you enter the reality of local life, learn about the traditions, and the culture off the usual tourist routes. The excitement and experience of a guided tour in the house of a small producer, learn about the legends of the most beautiful and mysterious places with the archaeologist, get your hands on to make traditional recipes and much more … : this is what we offer to our guest, who becomes no longer a tourist but an active and true participant of our territory. They are the “Sardinian Weeks”!
On June 26, the restaurant, pizzeria and bar opens
And here we are also ready with the opening of restaurant services. Restaurant, Pizzeria and Bar are open from Friday 26th. You can already consult the menu in the Camping App … try our pizza, leavened for at least 24 hours, our fresh fish, and the delicious dishes of our Chef Francesco Luesu. Let the Sommelier Guido suggest you a good wine and have a fresh cocktail prepared by Carlo. So much quality at the Camping Capo Ferrato restaurant! See you there!

On Monday 15 June we will reopen the CAMPING! We really couldn’t wait! In this period of closure we are prepared to welcome you in the best possible way. This winter we have completely renewed the central toilet group and prepared new procedures to ensure maximum safety for you and all our staff! To celebrate the reopening together, we decided to apply the low season rates until June 26th, rather than the average rates that would have been in force. We know it will be a very different season from the others, which will lead us to adopt behaviors that we are not used to. 20/4 – 4/5: “Sardinian weeks” the special April
Your emotional holidays to discover the traditions, culture, nature and gastronomy of our island: two weeks, every day an initiative! The program includes 15 days each with a different activity organized for our guests in or out of the campsite. This is the first time that we have organized this special events program in April. Someone calls it “emotional holiday” other “experiential holiday”, but for us it is a goal, because the “Sardinian Weeks” are also a sustainable tourism project: they orient our guests towards respect for the territory giving a great importance to local economies , to traditions, bring them closer to the daily lives of our people. In this April program there are 4 visits to small producers, three of them by bike; 4 gastronomic initiatives including a guided wine tasting, and the cooking course; the tour with the botanist on the beach, the evening with the astrophysicist to see the moon and stars, an appointment with the story of the 4 Mori the Sardinia’s flag, environmental excursions, and of course … we bring everyone to see the beautiful declared World Heritage Festival by UNESCO “Sagra Sant’Efisio” the 1st Mai in Cagliari! GREAT NEWS 2018: Restaurant, Pizzeria, Bar and Market open from Easter
Even in Spring we offer delicious cuisine! The news of this year: we will open the market, the restaurant, the pizzeria and the bar as early as March 31, an extra service for all guests of the low season! Every morning from March 31st the Market will be open and it will be possible to find fresh bread and croissants, fresh products, cheeses, cured meats, naturally also fruits and vegetables, etc. A small bazaar will complete the service. And in the evening Guido and his staff will welcome you to the restaurant and pizzeria. We have prepared the spring menu and starting from May we will enrich the menu with delicious new proposals from the Chef. Guido’s suggestions for pairing with the best wine will not be missing! We have selected for you a series of Sardinian wineries, including the best organic and biodynamic wines of Sardinia. In April every afternoon will also open the bar, so coffee, cappuccinos, drinks are always available! From May we will have a new menu enriched and delicious for all tastes, but especially for those who love simple recipes that remain in the heart …

AQUILONI AL VENTO – Laboratorio e volo
Domenica 3 settembre tutti a lanciare l’aquilone! Ancora un appuntamento con l’artista Alessia Marrocu, che questa volta insegna ai bambini e agli adulti a costruire gli aquiloni con la carta. Gli aquiloni vengono così portati in spiaggia e fatti volare! Il corso è dedicato a grandi e piccoli da 5 anni. L’appuntamento è alle 16:30 al mini club per la costruzione dell’aquilone. Ci si reca quindi in spiaggia per far volare gli aquiloni…buon divertimento!!!

Aspettiamo quindi la sera per creare un allestimento di luci sulla spiaggia. All’arrivo del buio accenderemo le lanterne per dare vita a una suggestiva scenografia con lo sfondo del mare. La “Notte magica delle lanterne” e la musica del duo “Animas”
NELL’AMBITO DEL PROGRAMMA “LE SETTIMANE SARDE” UNA SERATA MAGICA PER I NOSTRI OSPITI, CON L’ALLESTIMENTO DI LANTERNE FATTO DAI BAMBINI E L’ESIBIZIONE DI CANTI SARDI DEL DUO “ANIMAS”. La giornata comincia nel pomeriggio, durante il quale i bambini e gli adulti saranno coinvolti in un laboratorio per la costruzione delle lanterne di carta. Aspettiamo quindi la sera per creare un suggestivo allestimento di luci sul viale principale del campeggio. All’arrivo del buio spegneremo tutti i lampioni, lasciando che le luci delle lanterne creino una suggestiva scenografia. Le “Settimane Sarde” di giugno
Un programma di animazione originale tutto dedicato ai nostri ospiti della bassa stagione! Dal 5 giugno ripartono le “Settimane Sarde” due settimane di attività orientate alla promozione delle tradizioni, cultura, gastronomia e natura della nostra bellissima Isola e del nostro territorio. Sino al 21 giugno ogni giorno un’iniziativa differente: dal corso di cucina alla degustazione guidata dei vini, dallo snorkelling con il biologo marino, alla passeggiata in bicicletta nelle piccole aziende, dalla mostra degli artigiani al bird watching… Anche i bambini sono coinvolti in molte attività: un modo divertente per conoscere le meraviglie della Sardegna. The unique program of off-season activities for a holiday rich in emotions We are holding once again our programme of activities aimed at promoting the traditions, culture, gastronomy and nature of our beautiful island and our region. 20 days of original and emotional events, organised exclusively for our guests: from cooking lessons to guided tastings of wines and cheeses, from the art workshop to the exhibition of the artisans, from the botanical beach tours to bird watching in the lagoons … this is not the usual entertainment, but a real experience! Easter in the Camping Village in the heart of nature
Sea, beach and spring air, flowers and greenery … how better to spend Easter? Children will be excited to ride their bikes as adults prepare a delicious lunch in the company of their friends and then … all off to the beach to relax! With the aim of always providing an additional service, we decided to open the camp store already from the Easter weekend, therefore fresh bread, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, foodstuffs and the small bazaar will be available. Remember that our market also has gluten free products!

During the low season, we organize “Sardinian Weeks”: some theme-weeks with cultural and gastronomic entertainment program, local products and ethnographical display, art exhibitions, folk group shows, botanical tours and entertainment with original and funny activities for children. Every year programs are different, to offer always something new and original! The 2016 edition will be developed in the months of May, June, October and September. Raccontate con uno scatto tutte le emozioni della vostra vacanza, date un titolo alla foto che sia legato al tema “Il Camping Capo Ferrato è …”, e quindi fate pervenire la foto al Camping attraverso email info@campingcapoferrato.it oppure con wetransfer.com Affrettatevi perché la data di scadenza delle adesioni è il 26 agosto! Dal 27 agosto tutte le foto verranno pubblicate su Facebook e…. VAI SI VOTA fino al 2 settembre!!!! Ogni “mi piace” corrisponde a un punto. Vince la foto che avrà raccolto più voti. Ci saranno due vincitori, perché insieme al premio “mi piace” verrà assegnato anche un premio “giuria”, attribuito dalla Direzione e dallo Staff del Camping Capo Ferrato. Schiuma Party di Ferragosto!
MARTEDI’ 16 AGOSTO: SCHIUMA, SCHIUMA, SCHIUMA!!! ECCO L’EVENTO DI FERRAGOSTO! Chi l’ha detto che lo schiuma party è solo per i ragazzi? Da noi ballano tutti, grandi e bambini e si festeggia insieme! Lanciarsi nella schiuma è una sensazione da brivido, è divertentissimo, soprattutto quando si ha la garanzia di una super selezione musicale curata dal nostro special guest Dj Simon Luca Buon divertimento!
Notte di San Lorenzo
La notte di San Lorenzo tutti gli ospiti del Camping Capo Ferrato (e ci saremo anche noi dello staff ovviamente) compiranno il tradizionale rito del 10 agosto: il lancio dei palloncini in notturna! Lasceremo volare i nostri desideri e i nostri sogni verso le stelle, nella notte più romantica dell’anno, accompagnati dalla musica live del trio Magma Acoustic … naturalmente davanti al più bello scenario che la natura ci offre: la nostra spiaggia e le stelle cadenti…
